To find the age of a koummya you simply saw it in half and count the rings

Welcome to the forum. The koummya is a most interesting dagger of Morocco and into Algeria, typically Berber weapons. There may be tin in the scabbard sheathing and sometimes mounts. In any case it would be great to see photos and we can get some ideas.
