Default North Indian Example

Hi All,

I bought this tulwar because of the unusual spine but, until this post, had no idea that the blade could be of Italian or Central European manufacture. As far as I can see, my blade has no marks. It doesn't have a yelman either but it does widen slightly at the false edge. The simple military style sheath is olive drab canvas covered wood with a sheet steel drag. The hilt is very plain and has exceptionally short quillons. It is pinned to the blade as is frequently done in North India and Afghanistan.

Sincerely,
RobT
