Known locally as "Americky" this hilt gathers quite a following as it is easy to work with and can take close pinning of silver nails etc without splitting. It can be shaped, drilled, sawn and carved well and comes in several colours including black. It is lightweight and balances well with the knife blade and lasts for a very long time. Hilt "Americky".
