Default Ottoman Yatagan IDENTIFICATION

Dear readers,

I bought this old ottoman yatagan for collection purposes and I was wondering about the origin or the story behind the six head star carved on the blade with a comma shape in the middle..!?

I kind of succeeded on reading and understanding mostly all the writings which goes something like this : "AMAL SALIH SAHEB HOSSIN AGHA"

I believe that it was made at the
I looked over other yatagans and I found out that the first two words "AMAL SALIH" would probably mean the name of the blacksmith or the one who made the yatagan.

By the end of the writings, there is a date, I guess it is 122(0) or (4) AH 'I'm not sure' see pictures :-) si it would be like 1809 AD or something.

My question is : if this yatagan was made on 1809, why did the maker of the sword mention the date 1809 AD knowing that HASAN AGHA was a governor of Algiers in the early 1532-1544 AD ????

ANY HELP FROM YOU GUYS WOULD BE APPRECIATED TO IDENTIFY THIS YATAGAN
