Salaams Oliver, Great observation as usual...The Indian museum will be disappointed in the revelation on ageing of the last item...It certainly is oxidised as if it has been left in sea water for a few years !! By pure accident I have an item I found in my store the other day which is also new(relatively) and I wanted to present that along side older helmets for comparison. Your comments enhance the idea ..Below is my helmet...
