looks like somebody form sumbawa made their version of a mandau..
in indonesia you can find crazy things like this where somebody has reworked parts from another region to make something with local fashion.
ive seen man swords form timor and florse .. with handles put on them in java... i saw a crazy mandau made in bali but with balinese fittings and sheath. it must have been 30-40 years old.. but somebody has seen a mandau and thought theyd try their version.. so there is some of this going on..
