Less than a year before he passed away in 11th Desember 2003, Bambang gave me this book. (The title, “Orang Biasa” or Ordinary People). A draft of his otobiography (printed with computer, maybe only three copies). He asked me to read the draft, before it would be published for his own family. (He died before the book was ever published).…
The story of his life is interesting. Especially about “six days in coma”, when he was unconscious between 9-15 September of 1996. (The first chapter in his draft book). He tried to reconstruct his memory, during the “dying days” of 1996. What did he see in coma?
He felt like in a very long rock cave, very dark, lighted only by “bara api” , kind of ember or live coal… Not like dreaming, but he felt like real… Doctor said, he should had died in 1996. But yet, recovered again before died in Desember 2003.
