The same goes for numbers, they can be stamped and aged. The needles presented here appear to be made with a common, long screw that has been ground to a fine thread just like the head and tapered. Precisely, as the head is not very long, I leave it like this, short. There are other methods to find out, such as the pitch of the screws.
