I agree with you that WW2 would be a 'latest' date, I'd guess at a date of between the wars.

thank you! Yes, this sword would be ideal for fighting. When I compare it with my other tenegre (http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...hlight=tenegre) which was estimated between 1920-1945 I think that this one now is older, turn of the century would be my guess. But I am not an expert so it would be nice to read some other opinions.
