About the mark yes you are right many gun I saw from India were with arsenal number.

Yes I have the book, and agree, but this is unlike any of the other Toradors shown in that the others all have the typical straight stock. It is quite possible that there is some Arabian influence here, as it is well known that there was a very close trading tie between India and Arabia. Indeed Arabian mercenaries were employed in India, particularly in the Sind.
If you have Tirri's book Islamic Weapons he shows a matchlock on page 89 which reputedly comes from Yemen, and this one has the "cutback.
