I think this blade is almost certainly laminated given it's age (late 19th century?). But that does not mean there is an attractive pattern. Moro blades were not usually constructed this way to have showy patterns like the pamored blades of Indonesian keris. But you can also show the lamination more permanently using vinegar as an etchant.
