Thanks for your comments and photo, you always seem to make things look better than they actually are. I agree with your observations on the Khanjar and I think it to plain for a tourist piece which makes think it must have had another purpose just what I don't know but hopefully some other members may have a view.
With regard to the other weapon I do not think that it is a Gupti as it is to short , 16 ins O/L, but I do think it was made in India to be used as a Swagger Stick as apparently they were made for soldiers at the time.
