bohol in the visayas one day, i've seen a sundang with such a similar fish tail-looking scabbard (pic attached).
in this
post where i mentioned about an anthropology professor citing the possible explanation for the bronze inlays in certain blades, the prof said that is his home province in
panay, we can also see such characteristic fish tail-shaped scabbard tips. i can't remember now whether he said it was aklan or capiz province.
