By coincidence I was offered a similar helmet recently and am hoping to compare construction.
I'm particularly interested in the area indicated below. There looks like an almost undulating pattern on the highest point inside the crest?
It may just be the light, but if you could check or photo close-in to show that area, it would be really helpful.
