So far the blades that have spoken to me are those from the Visayans and the Moro areas. As it takes considerable effort to become educated enough to discern the qualities and characteristics desirable in blades from each region and peoples. I also had the privilege of visiting Mindadao several years ago with my Uncle and one of his teachers. It was from there that my journey down this road of collecting originated. While I have become somewhat familiar with the historic blades from Luzon and the Lumad they haven’t yet made their way into the collection. Maybe one day… need more walls??? Lol
