Picking up my puppy in Saxony i took some pictures in Dresden,which i would like to post in the Forum as an early Christmas gift to all members.I took zwo days visiting Meissen and Dresden and here especially the arms collection ( Rüstkammer) of the Historisches Museum Dresden.You find it in the now completely restored and rebuilded Residenzschloss,which was ,like the hole town, badly damaged in the end of World War II.
The arms collection i saw the first time when it was located in the Sempergalerie near the Zwinger, 20 years ago.Now the collection is wonderful new arranged in the Residenzschloss.Also the Gewehrgalerie and the historic and new GrÃ¼nes GewÃ¶lbe are to find there.I tried to make all in one day but it's tooooo much .You have to review the impressions of the visit,so that you can remember what you have seen .Please enjoy the pictures and have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
