Yeah, the way in which the gonjo has been fixed is a bit untidy, but whoever has done it has probably done the best he could.

From the pics, it looks like the hole was too big, or the pesi too small, so a collar has been made to reduce hole diameter, and then that added collar has been tightened by punching with a drift. This sort of repair is an old one, before we had things like wonder adhesives. In my opinion it is an enhancement to the collectability of the keris, rather than something undesirable:- it tells the story of the keris.
