I would like to thank you on behalf of all of us for posting this extremely valuable article. Another huge thanks to Mr Abel Domenech who has been so generous with his time in writing this essay and making all this somewhat esoteric information freely available to readers who do not speak Spanish.
If I may indulge myself a little, I would like to recommend, as the definitive reference on the subject, Mr Domenech's wonderful book, Dagas de Plata, to anyone who is interested in Creole knives. Whilst it is at the present only available in Spanish, nevertheless, its many superb illustrations alone will convey invaluable information and with the aid of digital translators it is possible to obtain a rough, but useful translation.
