Thank you both. I really love it. I'm hooked on indo-persian weaponry since I got this first piece. The variety is amazing.

I'm on the fence when it comes to a light etch. When I bought it the owner cleaned one small spot to show the wootz. Then a little on the handle and he said the handle and even the "rivets" are. I had a hard time seeing the pattern on the blade at the time let alone the handle. Although in the daylight it's pretty obvious on the blade.

Any thoughts on age?
