I would also like to thank Artzi and Avner for hosting this wonderful event. It truly isn't often when collectors can gather and receive such a wide assortment of information in one evening. And if you think about all the lectures we have had over the many years it continues to prove to be a tremendous source of information and hands on experience. Mark Bowditch did a fine presentation on dha where he has really put time and energy into the history of dha. Then a most interesting lecture on SE Asian Elephant fighting arts. Artzi made a neat presentation about the Lombard collection and has continued a near 75 year debate by actually having two examples from this collection at the show. How often do you get to look at 7th century material. Or was it.................? The live Sikh martial art presentation was high flying and impressive. The side table presentations were great. Add to that a nice dinner and getting to meet new attendees like Nathaniel is always great. It was a fantastic evening that I for one immensely enjoyed.
