Two matchlock arquebuses simillar to the drawing by Martin Merz, from the Ingenieurskunst- und Wunderbuch (Book on Engineering and Miracles), Weimar, ca. 1520's, fol. 196r.

The barrels can be formally dated to ca. 1500.
