It looks to me to be from Taiwan. You often see tourist Taiwan spear blades like this with the barbs. The ones that I have seen similar to this have a wood harft
carved with imaginary warriors, knives are available in the same style. It does not seem fine enough work for an African origin to me. Unless very very recent.
