I have had the opportunity to handle this one,

, and I am of the opinion this is early to mid 20th century and certainly not made for tourist but for use. The blade has a thick spine and you can see the edge has been differentially heat treated. The wood of the scabbard had good patina. Usually those 3 features are lacking in a contemporary piece made for tourist consumption.
