Very good to see you here, Antonio. I'm sure that you will add much to our discussions. Very nice kris — I look forward to seeing what else resides in your collection.

Welcome aboard.

 Salamat Poo Ian,

I am most touched an honored for your kind and warm welcome.
Your words are really too kind. I am attempting to learn a little and I am sure you, Mark and Andrew, as well as everyone else will surely help.

Coming from such a knowledgeable collector, your comment about my Kris humbles me. I couldn't help but buy it back in 2000.
My collection is now much humbler. I have a Dha or Dharb I bought from a site that Andrew most kindly pointed out and a Large Kukhri.

Here is the Dha

I understand that there may be a connection between the falcata and the Kukri. The other day I was watching
Alexander with my wife and when he had an ox and was talking and moving around the animal I told my wife:
he is going to behead the ox. The Ghurka still do it. And he did just that.

So I wonder for the Kukri is one of the most
unlikely designs I have ever encountered. And of course it is not a belittling expression.

Kindest regards
