I would be curious to hear from Alan what features of this keris caught his eye as indicators of its quality. Keris with complex ricikan and clearer pamor are more intuitive for me to observe quality based on masterful carving and pleasing patterns. I understand that my observations are based on very different criteria than people with years (decades) studying keris.
