I meant the comment to be a bit "tongue in cheek" but it looks as though that has backfired on me.
The main point was the " monster" style of hilt that I had not come across before in these Goloks.
The anthropomorphic hilts that I have ( and have seen)are mostly eagles and very simple parrot heads.
This one reminded me of the monster head on a tenegre.
Perhaps naturalist is correct.
