I doubt this bolo is pre-1900, but it is a very nicely made and mounted example and I would be interested in anything members may be able to tell me about its age and origin. The grip appears to be of caribou horn with silver (about 88½ percent) ferrules. The blade is 13 inches long and 3/8 inches thick at its base with an unsheathed weight of 20.4 ounces.
This bolo came from Lew Waldman's collection and may be an unillustrated example he mentioned in a forum post in March, 2010.
