Hi doecon, this keris handle form is quite plentiful. It's known as "Bajing Terbang" (reference: Tammens, De Kris), one of Maduran hilt form. Bajing Terbang literally means "flying squirrel".

Well, you could ask the seller. Looking at the piece, the sheath joints needed to be re-attached. Other than that looks ok to me. Probably, the seller is trying to say that the sheath is made for the blade.
