Yo Style! You're dissing me, bro !!! Okay...I'll admit I REALLY didn't know exactly what it was and the hilt looked a bit odd , but you've got to admit it does sort of look like a long gunong. I'll keep that in mind if I make to Davao this year. Hey...at least I didn't call it a kris variant .

As for the talibong, I'll start a new thread soon with an overview and evaluation. I'll even post pics of it next to some of my old swords for comparison. Shelley finally got back into town after his surgery and finally got to see it today. I didn't think he was going to give it back after twirling it around. He also had that devilish grin on his face while playing with it. I could probably safely say he liked it.
