If you're shooting pix at 1 meg then after cropping save at about 70% quality ; resize to 800 x 600 (800 is max width ; actual image length is around 1,100 ) which should upload nicely to the site .
I created a folder *EEWRS* specifically to save my compressed pix for upload .
