Thank you all for your kind replies. As for the wife, there will be no trades, loans or "gifting of" considered, you will have to find your own.
I am at this point now positive that she prefers Moro pieces over my own preferences as all items (save one, a spear from Laos) that she has presented to me have been Moro.
