I also now know that the knife is either a Pesh Kabz, a Charay or a Choora.

Salaams It looks like a Mussandam "Shehi" work knife ... which also look like Baluch daggers ... which probably take their form from Afghanistans daggers...which....The puzzling part is the decorative strip running up and over the pommel.
