I have to let this one go in order to balance the budget for the acquisition of a different example.
This sword is aledgedely an ancestor example of the classic Schiavona, dated first half 16th century, possibly of German origin.
The ancient patina is integral.
The blade tip is missing and there is a small fracture in one of the guard bars, although practicaly invisible; the hilt remains tight and solid.
I am asking the same price i have paid for it: 1300 Euros, although i am ready to consider a reasonable offer.
