Default A WW2 KUKRI TURNS UP!!

My vids on You Tube brought in a surprise yesterday

A student that I last taught 16 yrs ago was handed down a kukri that he was told belonged to a Gurkha in WW2, too get my opinion it. The kukri certainly fits the bill, and looks to have been well used.

A typical IA issue kukri of WW2, 31cm long blade, and weighs 523grams, and identical (except a slight variance in weight) to the IA issue kukri that Major-General Mike Callan (Gurkha Officer WW2) had issued to him in WW2, reference my article 'The Gurkha and the khukuri/kukri' which will be updated when further re-search comes together.

Nice to see these types still coming out the wood work
