"Atjeh medal / (Kraton medal) (KB. 12 May 1874, nr. 9, Stb. nr. 70)
For actions in Atjeh in 1873 and/or 1874.
Made out of bronze coming from the captured artillery at the taking of the kraton."

This example has the original ribbon and 100% goldplating of the bronze still present. excellent condition for its age.
