Hi Willem,

I just found the matching description in the archives of "Beeld en Geluid"
The camerawork is done by mr. Ochse for Polygoon.
The visited the archipelago in 1925-1928.
The village is most likely Bawomataluwo.

Vincent Monnikkendam glued an enourmous lot of all interesting pieces together to make 1 movie.
I see however that a lot of very,very interesting material about Nias must be still unused.
