Can you take better photos of the steel? Syrians make blades that look great but those blades tend to be crowbar heavy. A pattern can tell a lot. Tang is definitely new but that is ok.

Nope. The style is specific to Jezzine, southern Lebanon. Has nothing to do with Majdalshams. Scabbard is likely done in Damascus or.... Beirut.

To make it easier, it is worn by tribes that populate the south. So you’d see it in Yemen, Najran and even Taif.
