Very nice tombak. The relief at the base of the blade was gilded. The technique is called kinatah. To bring it back in its original state the blade should be treated with warangan.

no. 3 is an army batton from Indonesia indeed. The Dutch market was flooded with these items in te seventies.
no. 4 is a chinese copy of a japanese tanto.
no. 1 and 2 are nice and worth keeping.

Clean the mendak and the pendok. Clean the wooden parts as well. Oil the blade slightly with keris oil. This fellow deserves it.

Nice second aqcuisition.

It has a javanese ukiran but it wouldn't surprise me if we had to look at the Sumatran region.

Sorry for the confusion gentlemen. The english language is not my mother language. The hilt Kai showed is the one i ment and is in my opnion more suitable for this keris.

I think the pommel can tell us something more. What i see at the moment is a fine kukri.

Thank you for your comments. Certainly useful. The copper hilt however gave me an indication of a military sword as Timo sugested.
