This kind of crossguard and blade shape was typical for small British and French daggers, in the middle and the end of 19th century. And stag handle is typical for hunting knifes.

I’ve been told by fellow collector, that blade most likely is from Shiraz. Because it looks typical for that area. No other info, unfortunately.

Hi gents,

Please help me to identify this qama dagger.
My research show that it's Iranian. Most likely made in Shiraz, around 1880. But it could be Turkish or Caucasian. Any ideas?

I believe this is French personal protection dagger, end of 19th century. Also called prostitute's dagger (Dague de prostituée or Dague De Pute).
