Alan, what about the first (black base) Gayaman kris. That's a 'genuine' kraton kris as being identified for a Jajar. Would be most interested to know about that one as that is the one from my own...

Besides, I think the Blewah is not matching either. It should not have pendok at all.

Thanks Alan for your insight and I have replaced both mendak and handle as I fully agree these are 'disturbing' elements.
The ivory handle has an integrated selut that is a decoratively carved bases....

Keris Solo for identification

Here is a recent purchase of a keris from Solo.
The blade is strikingly wide with fine Pedaringan Kebak pamor and interesting pamor at ganja sides.
This could be a Tuban blade from Pajajaran...

Thanks, I tested it with a red heat needle and just some old dirt came out. With a magnifying glass I saw the metal to metal contact.
