18th century sword belt

I bought this as an "18th century sword belt". What kind of sword was hanging from this belt? Αnd what is teh reason for these small thin leather lines?

To me, the second digit on the date looks like "o" That gives a date of 1021 islamic, ie 1612, which looks much more likely for such a quality blade. Also, the second digit cannot be a "worn two"...

Large dagger with Armenian (?) inscription

Large Ottoman yataghan type of dagger. One side of teh blade is etched with designs, the other has an inscription. I am not sure about what is the language of teh inscription.
