Blade definitly isn't modern, it's just cleand and coverd with some lubricate for conservation.
And they did forge damascus/wootz type blades in the Caucusus.

Blade (caucasian ?!)

Here is the blade of Georgian (caucaisan) sword.
I think (?!) it was forged in caucasus, imitation of europian blade, marks from both side.

Your comments and opinions please.

Blade is 74cm, over all is 94 cm, blade width at the ,,dragon" - 3.8 cm, widest part toward the tip - 5.3cm.
Tip area of the blade is thin but not flexible, at the hilt it's 0.9-1.0cm.

hi,

place of origin of this beautiful kinjal is Georgia. blademark is georgian masters as well, but master could be persian, armenian, dagestan and etc. ... who knows what nationality :)

these marks are on 2 different blades, but marks look like the same. one blade is caucasian shahska and other is georgian sword.

yes Ariel you are right:)

its khevsuri and georgian swords and they are old, originals for sure. mark is inlaid in gold (but that blade is from different one - light shashka).

sword (dress) is not original, blade as well. for sure. i know few masters in Tbilisi (tiflis) who do the same kind swords and blades. only original is kinjal blade.
