sword with flintlock pistol

A friend of mine owns this special sword with a SAHAGUM blade and a flintlock pistol. The blade might IMHO be much older than the pistol and so comments are invited.

"XI DVNAN" is certainly not the maker of the gun which has been manufactured around 1600. As there are no marks on the lock or barrel at all, it is very hard to decide where this piece has been...

Strange flintlock gun

Did anybody here see such a gun with such a strange flintlock? There are no marks or stamps on it and the brass pan reminds me on locks of the Osmanic Empire
