Long Khodmi for discussion

Added a long khodmi & wood scabbard to my collection, should be arriving in the next few days. Approx.40 cm overall. Will post better dimensions, etc. when it arrives.

Looks like a variant of a main gauche - left hand parrying dagger, almost a sail-guard, but skeletal, with extra large perforations.

my 'cut steel' (aka 'mourning sword') has additional cross gusrd and non-functional finger rings. Instead of a knuckle guard it has a loop on the cross guard and on the pommel for a chain.

Brass in contact with iron/steel is not a good idea. In damp or wet it can cause galvanic corrosion to the axe.
