thanks for the info, it does indeed look similar, it seems to be a Generic shape for the region?

The shaft on mine was not as elaborate, just bamboo, tapered at the top.

I found this in Laos, it is 55cm long and the shaft was some (unfortunately) some worm eaten bamboo.

the tang was fixed in with a form of resin, the shaft tapered and the brass collar covered the...
