The copper inlay and probably the cleaning of the blade...

Although i haven't the slightest idea, i don't think it is tourist junk. If it is tourist junk then it is the better tourist stuff. India, Tibet possibly. Maybe even Thai.

Detlef is right. The blade has the same quality as the cheap javanese tourist keris often found here in Holland. Same as the dress. Very good example to learn how it shouldn't be.

Although not my field, I would say it is original looking at the markings. Also the hilt is not attached with a screw.
Apparently it was owned by collectors who cared for their puppies.
