Afghan "Khyber" knives for identification

Added these two to my collection today. My knowledge mainly is concerned to Indonesian weapons but I started reading a lot here on the forum.

So probably an European mameluke military style sword. In this case a wild combination of shamshir and European design.

Handle also shows signs of long term use so would guess...

Handle and crossguard have the same type of design with leaves so seem to belong together. Certainly has an European feel to it.

Shamshir ID help needed

Hi, just came across this shamshir, any ideas on age and or region?

Seems to have age, no markings on the blade which seems to be well made but sharpened a lot over time.

Arabic blade with makers mark? Help needed

Who can tell me what this blade is?
A recent amateur handle was added so I did not include it in the photo (it only distracts from the blade)
One side has a double groove the other a single....

Superb piece that is but and it seems all correct! But not typical either not sure what to think about the handle. Maybe the conclusion is we still know little about the Gayo variations....

First golden crowns I have seen on a Gayo piece. Certainly not traditional Gayo so probably a (period) marriage. The marriage is "confirmed" by the incorrect fit to the blade as mentioned before....
