1900 RENCONG RENTJONG GROOVED HORN HILT

Old pre 1900 Rencong with a beautifull grooved buffalo horn hilt.

Original scabbard with perfect fit.

scabbard has a crack in the back near the scabbard mouth which has been glued in the past / see...

No specific carvings to make it 100% sure. but we can take a safe guess on Dayak.

Yes, the basket is Borneo / Sarawak. I have an identical one...
