first thought it might be a Balkan one as many indications point into that direction.

But some of the marks on the blade...

your advice please....

not a big one (19 cm total: 10 cm blade and 9 grip/hilt), yet very sharp....
the yataghan-like grip/hilt is made from horn, seperated from the very thick and strong blade by a thin plate of copper ...
