don't own one but can confirm, this are Betel knives from Bali or Lombok and yes, they are similar to the shown knife by H. Brownrigg.

I think he want to say exactly this but I have to disagree, blade shape and constuction is correct, the handle don't look very ergonomic but it's not made for fight and I have seen similar shaped...
